De Haas Shipyards is the right place for maintenance and (emergency) repairs to vessels. We work well, quickly, and efficiently and have experience with all types of vessels. With two excellently equipped shipyards in the Rotterdam port area, there is always a solution, whether planned or unplanned.
We have all disciplines in-house, but – in consultation with the customer, of course – we also like to work with specialist subcontractors. We always keep control: this way we keep the quality, planning and costs under control.
Higher deployability
of vessels
To increase the availability of the fleet, we carry out scheduled maintenance, often on the basis of a multi-year maintenance contract. Various shipping companies entrust the maintenance of their fleet entirely to De Haas Shipyards.
In close consultation with their technical department, we use condition-based, but also risk-driven maintenance to ensure higher availability and a reduction in vessel downtime due to failures. By controlling life cycle costs, we also ensure transparent and more profitable investments.
Safely dry-docking vessels with Marine Travelift
Both locations – Maassluis and Rotterdam – have a Marine Travelift. This allows us to elevator vessels out of the water, virtually without limit and independent of tides. Quick underwater inspections and repairs, such as removing a hawser from a propeller or repairing a leak, can often be carried out with the vessel in the Travelift. This allows you to get back to using your vessel within hours.
If more work needs to be done the vessel is given a place on the dock or in one of our ship repair halls. The Travelift is then usable again for the next customer. The capacity – unlike docks or slipways – is virtually unlimited.
Authorised Service Partner Hamilton Jet
After years of successful collaboration between De Haas Shipyards and AMW-Marine | Hamilton Jet, this partnership has now been officially confirmed with an Authorized Service Partner Agreement.
This agreement enables us to provide our customers with high-quality service and original parts for Hamilton Jet waterjets and related systems. Our service technicians are certified and have the knowledge and experience to perform maintenance and repairs to the highest standards.
